Aloha,

I was invited by several of our customers to check out watchfreeks, and I must say I like the flavor of this place. It's very pleasant...:) And more than any other forum, we've gotten a friendly, no-hassle welcome from the mods. THANKS!!!

I wanted to invite any of you who have never ventured over to the Bathys Hawaii website to check it out. We are a small brand that's been around for 5 years or so, quietly designing simple, functional watches that are produced by our Atelier in Switzerland. All our watches are Swiss Made; all have AR-coated sapphire crystals; all come with two straps in a Pelican case; 2 yr warranty; our Dive Watches are water resistant to 200M with screw in crowns; we make both quartz and automatics; all either with PVD coatings or all-titanium; and our prices range from $395-$995.

If you look around on the web for reviews, opinions, etc, I think you will mostly find positive things.

Our customers have been described as "cult-like"*. Over 60% of our sales are to repeat customers; many of our customers own more than one of our watches; some own 5-6; and a handful own over 15 of our watches...so to me this says we must be doing something right.

Anyway, glad to be part of the watchfreek crew. Mahalo, John

*(Fine Print: We do require that you allow us to perform several intensive mind-control experiments on you before purchase a Bathys watch, but that's pretty painless and you really won't remember a thing. Really.)

Welcome.... I was hoping that we would be able to get a free tour of your factory in Hawaii, but it looks like only designing is done there...

(shhsshh... I need an excuse to tie in a tropical visit along with my watch hobby for the wife)

I'm a big fan, John - Bathys are suh-weet. I even managed to convince a fellow watch lover to get a Bathys and it's currently the favorite of his collection, too.

My 100 Fathoms says hello from Chicago!
