Thought that I would post a pic of my oldest Citizen, as near as I remember its about 25 years old. The model was called "Wind Surfer", not sure why? Of course I have done multiple battery changes and band replacements over the years. It still works just fine and was my main watch for everything for a long time. I don't get it wet anymore as I'm sure the seals are no good.

Anybody else ever seen one?

Nope...never seen one before.  But if it tells you the wind velocity and direction...I would have loved to have had one when I was playing golf everyday...especially in tournaments!!

My oldest Citizen is now 32 years old, a 1979 model. It is the Digi-Ana the first combined LCD digital and analog combination watch Citizen did, giving dual time zones capability as well as a 1/100 second stopwatch. Still in basically perfect shape including the LCDs which Citizen warned in the manual might only have a life of 5 years!

I also still have the manual and the original warranty booklet. The band is also original, a very thin stainless steel bracelet.

Yes, i do !
One of them is on my wrist and another one is still at work in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, western australia.
My australian buddy also has got a "brother" of the D060 in black metal case, the so called D060 Aka(Robot) and i have second case for the D060 made of stainless steel.
Don´t worry about the o-rings, if you want to get sure, simply open the case, pull out the module, lubricate the pushpins of the buttons and the large one of the rear cover with some silicone oil and then reassemble your watch.
I did so and my windsurfer doesn´t cause any problem beeing worn, while diving in the piscine.
It was called windsurfer to declare it as a watch, suited for water sports.
It is similar to the D120, called "Yachting (watch)".
On top of that, the D060 is a direct ancestor of the first diving computers, even predesigned for a display for left air supply and decompression times.
Best wishes from Germany.

Nifty! I agree, a new O ring gasket, siliconed, would make you waterproof, if isnt still waterproof. But, I dont know if Id test it if I were you. Looks like you love that watch!

This is very interesting.
A short time ago, i was looking for some genuine straps for the Ana-Digi-Temp, which my australian buddy had got a short time before, but i only found some golden straps without those black highlights on.
During this research, i found a brand new, never worn Citizen C010 Voice-Memo in an old watchmaker´s shop around the corner and sent it to my buddy.
Thus now my buddy is the proud owner of a D060 Winsurfer, metal case, a D060 Winsurfer Aka (Robot face), a 9886 Ana Dgi Temp and a C010 Voice Memo.
There are still some suiting straps kept in stock, but they are gold plated need to be stripped off to have an almost genuine design.
Best wishes from Germany.
