Ordered mine yesterday from Amazon... Hope its awesome as I've never seen the PVD version in person.:c

I did see one of the non PVD coated Dive Masters and didn't care for it, hope the one I ordered looks as good as the pictures on the web.:whatever:

I tried one on at an AD. WOW, you will not be disappointed.

It's a very substantial watch, I loved it.

Good luck and congratulations.

James, how's the pvd holding up on your watch and how often do you wear it? The size looks about perfect to me...just big enough and just chunky enough

I love the color and the watch in general is one of my favorite of favorites. But that being said I am not sure I would ever get a pvd watch again. I have already "rubbed" a few of the links on the 12 side of the bracelet. Now I can't see this while I am wearing it, but I know it is there. Not terrible by any means, but definitely rubbed/scuffed. No way to really fix it either.
I LOVE the dark rich color of the bracelet and case, but always worried about scuffing it, etc.

I still wear it a lot. probably 1 time every 2 weeks. Still one of my top dial and overall looks to any watch I own.

Mine is still in pristine condition but I am aware of the possibility of a wear mark which is inevitable with any PVD finished watch... That said, because the finish is "Gunmetal" and not as dark as a black PVD, any SS showing through would not be as visible... Hey... It's gonna get some marks on it but it's a keeper... So what?:)

Im always worried about the PVD coated watches wearing, as not all PVD coating is of equal quality, that said I do have a PVD coated Lumi Nox that I've had for 5 years that gets a lot of wrist time that has no sign of wear.

Good to know!  Ususally the first signs of wear are on the bracelet if it's PVD... Either the clasp or between the lugs... Cases don't seem to get as much abuse...

I just picked this up... this is my second automatic watch and my first Swiss made watch. I love it. The quality is so much better than my Seiko Orange Monster. I like the Seiko a lot but this watch is just out of control. The feel of the PVD is fantastic. The weight is awesome. The glow is awesome.
Here are some pictures, taken with my cell phone so they are kinda crappy but whatever.

That's a beauty CC. Love those "broad sword" hands and the green inner numbers.

Just a great watch all around.

I really love it. Thanks to the excellent post here, I felt confident buying it without seeing it in person first.

I held/tried on one of these today, with rubber strap. It was dead in the store, came to life with a few shakes. What a beautiful movement. The lume was visible just by cupping my hand over the watch. I'm not one for coated watches, but this one has me tempted big time. It looks awesome in pictures, it's 10X in person. WOW.

Alright, I have a problem...

I just bought this amazing watch! I got it last night and the time is WAY off! We're talking 5sec fast every minute!!!! When I woke up this morning it was like an hour and half off the real time!

This is my first mechanical watch, and first watch over $200 bucks, somebody please tell me this isn't normal!

Should I return it or does it just need a tune up???

Thanks for you advice.
