Here are some of my Russians in a group shot.  And the second pic is of one of my 3aka3 models from the

1970's.  I really like the 3aka3 models since they have a military history and were only issued to members

of the military.  I have another 3aka3 that is in better condition hand wise, but I guess I've never

taken a photo of it.  For those that enjoy Russian watches, I hope you enjoy these.

 Regards Sonny

Nice set of watches!

What is the one in the first picture - top row - far left - black dial with what looks like green markings and numbers. Do you have a closer pic of that one?

Yeah, it's a Raketa 24hr watch. Here's a closer pic.

Very cool manual wind. I've forgotten the movement number.

Both the Red Square and the black/stainless N1 Rocket models are two of my own V-E favorites. The rosetone/black strap model Red Square is a nice looking watch as well. In fact, most of the V-E models are nicely made IMO. So are the Vostok, Poljot, and Aviator brands.

Except for two Soviet era Maktime mechanical chrono models I got from a Russian friend of mine, I purchased most of my Russian and Lithuanian/Russian watches from HSN/JTV from late 2007 through mid 2009. I also bought several directly from Russia2all after JTV dropped the line. Prices were very good to downright exceptional then. Now, not so much. I also don't see any good reason to buy a Lithuanian made watch with an inexpensive Asian NH25A movement in it--especially for the present asking prices. There is no Russian connection left at all. So I'm happy I got mine while the getting was good and the watches were at least partly Russian.

Anyway, thanks for sharing yours with us. It's a very nice collection, and it comes from the right era.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice bunch of Russians.

Usually when I hear the words "Russian" and "Group Shot", I think of this guy.

I don't think he's thinking watches, either.
