Can't figure why Bell & Ross and Omega would be considered "fashion brands".

I have seen this before and it is more of an opinion than any actual stats. How can Breitling be on the same list as Frank Meuller and Blancplain.

Exactly.
None of it matters....unless you're overly concerned about what others think of what you're wearing.

Why would it be interesting. The are an entry level brand.

The rest of the list is a lot of opinion I am sure. There are many brands that could be included or moved around on those lists.

Agree with you DogLover.  Not a chance wither of the two you mentioned are Fashion Brands. I would argue on behalf of Tag too even though they advertise like a fashion brand.

This list looks like it was paid advertising. Sort of like the best steak houses or plastic suregeons in the country in the IN Flight Magazines.

I knew we had no shot as our brand recognition is not there. But there are some pretty gaping holes in this.

Interesting reading for sure.

I was just going to post basically the same thing...who decides what is a fashion brand, or a luxury brand? Oh and it looks like I'm an entry brand collector. :WW

I think it may be sort of sad really that out of that list of 40 there are about 8 watch brands I have never even heard of!!! I guess I don't get out and around enough in the right places.

I am thinking the lists were compiled by and for those who buy watches for different reasons than most on the forums. We take time to learn about a wider variety of options, buy them, and draw conclusions based on personal experience.

As some have mentioned, Hamilton, Reactor,, Lumtec, Magrette, and Zenith are conspicuously absent.

They can publish their opinion, we base our views on experience.
