i am helping a co-worker with some watch selection (gift for someone) and i stopped by the Movado factory outlet in Kittery, ME at lunch. the 2 tone 800 on bracelet was the tiem i was scouting out but in the process i ended up trying on a chrono on the thermoresin strap. i'm not a huge fan of rubba, but lemme tell you it is not only comfortable but i think it looks better than the bracelet! it's got a very nice "self-adjusting" deployant clasp and a very clean look to it. the prices are ridiculous! sub-$500 for the bracelet chronos and sub-$400 for the rubba strap. if i had another $200 in my slush fund i'd have jumped on the black dial/black rubba :b

Amazon link to the blue dial-

here's a photo i snagged off flickr. it's not the chrono but you get the idea-

Real sharp, I saw one at local BJs wholesale club last week, chrono with blue dial on rubber strap for $400. After seeing the outlet price I guess BJs is very fair in pricing.

I own that one with the blue dial and black resin strap. Bought it about a year ago on Chrono Shark for 389. I highly recommend it. The 800 series chrono is 45-46mm yet fairly lite weight given the weight of the strap. It has the 251.172 inside with sapphire crystal and the best lum I have ever seen on a watch. This one feels great on the wrist as well. I would buy it again in a minute as this is one quartz I can truly justify the current price point on the DOD sites. I think it is safe to see it won't be any cheaper as this watch started out at 1200 in the retail stores per Movadoand this is almost a give away price.

I have the non-chrono on the bracelet.

Nice watch, great lume!

The chronos on the braclelet seem to wear pretty big in comparison to the three hand version.
