TIME FOR AN UPDATE TO THIS THREAD - also many new members who need to jump in and post pics of their TVs!

48' Toshiba

Older but still a great TV to watch games on. Hooked up to a full surround sound system ( 6 hung speakers) and a floor subwoofer

Used to be this -

And after tonight's install it is this - 42" LED HDMI 1080p 120Hz - So bright, so much nicer and so much more floor space for the kids (or adults, lol)!

Nice set up james... I'd love to do something similar soon and free up some floor space. Does the new TV work with the old sound system, or do you need a new sound rig too?

The old sound system was ancient also and the hook ups don't work the same any more. going to have to look for a new multi speaker system or sound bar. looking for a good deal on those now.

I'll get into the surround system if anyone is interested , Watches aren't the only thing I waste money on.

Great iPad picture... :)

That is a Sony XBR-49H929 LED-based LCD...it is pretty new and awesome!

My surround sound is Bose with 5.1 surround sound. My entire home (including outside in-ground Bose "Free Space" speakers) is wired for sound and has independent zones. Great overall system and all RF so I can controll it from anywhere.
