If you are on Jomashops email bargain list or receive discount coupons for first time buyers beware.
Spotted an Alpina extreme diver for a good price. Web site says in stock, ships within 24 hours. Place the order and use my first time buyer discount code. All seems well, transaction completes. No response for a week so I email about the status. I was then told it needed to be ordered and would ship in two weeks. Two weeks pass and shoot customer service another email and they say it will ship the next week. Well another week passes no ship.
Beware Jomashop will waste your time and string you along until you get fed up and cancel your order.
I went through Amazon and it worked just fine. Every company has its days. Keep in mind I am not saying that what happened to you was not a frustrating experience worthy of a negative post. To be honest, in your shoes I would stay away from them but many people here have had excellent dealings with them. Send an email to them describing what happened. If they dont respond then I say screwem. Id like to know if they respond in a positive way.
If you decide to not waste your time then that is totally understandable.
I sent email after email and called customer service. I felt I was strung along because I used the first time buyer coupon which made the sales price lower than Jomashop wanted to commit to.
Hmmm. Very odd since I have had an absolutely pleasant experience with them over the last month. Also, their communication has actually been OVER THE TOP with email reports and pretty decent customer service too. Only thing i did different was deal with an actual human there and not online.
If you need a POC there who has treated me very well, call Ellada and ask her to see if she can help you out. You can even tell her I sent you too since we have been communicating ALOT! I bought a watch I have been dreaming about for years at an unreal price from them (Tissot T-Touch II) and when it arrived I was not that enthralled with it as I thought Id be.
It was just too small for my taste and they are taking it back to trade in on something else from them - no hassles on return except me having to pay return shipping, which isn't a deal breaker for me. Her direct line is 718-532-2861 and she always returns emails ASAP and voicemails i leave too. Sorry you had a bad experience on this and maybe by dealing with someone there directly things will work out better?
Please keep us posted on how things work out for ya too ok?
I guess I could post the email communication if this would lend my story more credibility. I am glad there are others who have received great service. I just happen to not be one of them.
to the OP; did you receive a confirmation email from JS? I've seen those 'buyer discount codes' and wonder if it's better to take that code and call in the order vs using the online check out.
I received a confirmation email from Jomashop that my order had been placed.
FYI. Jomashop still lists this watch as in stock and ships within 24 hours
