Love this watch. Have recently bought a couple Swiss watches and needed to get back to my routes.

TeePro:
Adjectives that come to mind just fail to describe the presence of this watch
I have a son living and working in Europe (Finland)
He wears older model Blue Angels iterations. Luvs it with a passion. Uses a
Suunto for his beater,

Luvin yer watch.

Not quite 4 years. Without any light sorce, say in a drawer, it'll run for about 10-12 months or so I believe.
I've got one just like it & really enjoy it!

Thanks Roarry, I have a couple of Citizens also and haven't seen this one so had a look online...

http://www.creationwatches.com/raulw...ots-watch.html

It mentions a 4 year power reserve, I presume it is the same as the skyhawk and all hands move to the 12 o'clock position and the watch enters the power save mode when it is not in the light for a period of 2 weeks.

I am also dubious at the 4 year statement as I thought the low power mode was only for around a year.... but who buys a watch to not wear it for a year

Citizen is coming out with a Solar powered (eco-drive) model of their famous "Chronomaster" HAQ wrist watches. Seen pictures of it, it features a dial made from some mysterious Japanese paper, and looks even nicer then the Seiko Snowflake dial Grand Seikos.

I sold very recently a JDM Citizen SST Chronograph and that had a 7 year power reserve. Stated so in the supplied manual.
