Genuine or not?

Greetings,

I just bought a citizen at0367-51e watch online and it was registered as 100% genuine. When i got the package the box was really well made. But when I opened it, i got really worried since it doesn't have any manual or warranty card. Just the watch and the model tag.
I did some research online and read about fake citizen watches being sold around. So i went to the citizen website and downloaded the online manual for it. Cal. h500.
I inspected the watch it was really well made and the fine details are there when i compared it to the original pictures. From the color, logo, the looks of the bracelet, its back casing engravings and serial number and they all looked good just like the original.
I observed the watch's movment and the second hand was moving at 2 sec intervals and the chronograph was not functioning. I read through the manual and read that this was its power saving mode that it was signaling that it has insufficient charge. So i bathed it directly under a desk lamp for about an hour with just a few inches of space in between. Suprisingly enough the second hand went from the 2 sec interval to 1 sec. And the chronograph also started to work again. I tested its chronograph and and everything was the same as how it was stated in the manual. If i put the crown to the time correction position and hold the button A for about 4 secs and release then if i press it again i can adjust it second per second as it was stated in the manual. Also the chronograph automatically stops after it reaches the 1 hour mark as what was also stated in The manual. So im fairly certain that it has the original movement inside.
Im just really worried about it's authenticity since there is no manual or warranty cards at all. Let me know what you guys think of, if it is genuine or not with out needing to open the caseback and risk damaging its internal gaskets that would ruin its water resistance.

Thank you in advance for your responses.

Attached are some photos of the watch in question.

Welcome to the forum.

Very doubtful that it is a fake, but if you are really concerned take it to a watch repair shop and have them examine it. There are fake Citizens out there, but not many. From everything you said, I would not have any reason to question its authenticity.

Got a few Citizens, that has all the tell tail signs of being legit. Especially the case back. The 12 with lume and the chrome base is used on a few versions and the signature BLUE Lume is a CITIZEN thing. The chrome CITIZEN is right and the dial design all good. I'd say 100%. BTW, Nice timepiece.

Did you purchase this on Ebay from a private seller?

You need more then a hour under a light to charge an Eco-Drive, put it out on a window sill in direct sunlight for a day or two, that should power it up to full strength.

I purchased this at lazada.com it is like the amazon here in the Philippines. And they have also been known to have sold fake products from their partner merchants. not all though, just some.

And yea i do that too. i put my watch near a window for it to get indirect light.
Any opinion on putting it in direct sunlight while submerged in water so that it doesn't overheat??

Amen. The ole sol in Texas shines mighty bright.
Never had an instance of my EcoZillas battery givin up the ghost
using our plentiful anount of sun time.
Matter of fact all 5 of my Solar powered watches thrive like
sparrows using the hot Texas sun.
Ain't solar powered watches just the cat's meow?

I live in Arizona in the Phoenix area, sun doesn't get much hotter then here, and I put my watches on the window sill in the direct sunlight here to charge them up, no problems at all.

Citizen eco-drive watches are the best. I have 2. One needs to be repaired from being old and the second one is good to go. I love your watch. I have always wanted one but never had the money too.

Good buy. Looks authentic to me.

Untrue. There are quite a few counterfeit Seiko and Citizens out there, not just modified but fake from the case up. They aren't as prominent as the luxury brand fakes because the profit margin isn't as high, but they are out there.

Lots of fake Casio's out there as well.
