Greetings,
I just bought a citizen at0367-51e watch online and it was registered as 100% genuine. When i got the package the box was really well made. But when I opened it, i got really worried since it doesn't have any manual or warranty card. Just the watch and the model tag.
I did some research online and read about fake citizen watches being sold around. So i went to the citizen website and downloaded the online manual for it. Cal. h500.
I inspected the watch it was really well made and the fine details are there when i compared it to the original pictures. From the color, logo, the looks of the bracelet, its back casing engravings and serial number and they all looked good just like the original.
I observed the watch's movment and the second hand was moving at 2 sec intervals and the chronograph was not functioning. I read through the manual and read that this was its power saving mode that it was signaling that it has insufficient charge. So i bathed it directly under a desk lamp for about an hour with just a few inches of space in between. Suprisingly enough the second hand went from the 2 sec interval to 1 sec. And the chronograph also started to work again. I tested its chronograph and and everything was the same as how it was stated in the manual. If i put the crown to the time correction position and hold the button A for about 4 secs and release then if i press it again i can adjust it second per second as it was stated in the manual. Also the chronograph automatically stops after it reaches the 1 hour mark as what was also stated in The manual. So im fairly certain that it has the original movement inside.
Im just really worried about it's authenticity since there is no manual or warranty cards at all. Let me know what you guys think of, if it is genuine or not with out needing to open the caseback and risk damaging its internal gaskets that would ruin its water resistance.
Thank you in advance for your responses.
Attached are some photos of the watch in question.
