Default New Tutima Tempostopp Chronograph

Guys, did you catch this new Tutima called the Tempostopp Chronograph?

It actually celebrates Tutima's 90th Anniversary, and evidently pays tribute to the vintage 1939 Flieger chronograph known as the Tempostopp. A watch that had it's movement specs destroyed after WWII everyone.

Thanks to an existing watch from the time though, the new Tempostopp with an exact replica of the caliber used in it being unveiled. With some of the many specifications looking to include a 43mm 18 karat pink gold case, two level ivory dial with two sub-dials, chapter ring, gold hands, and numbers, red accents, and alligator strap. With the 237 component caliber T659, a hand-wound column wheel chronograph with 65 hour power reserve being under it all.

Some pictures guys...

Nice gold case. Should have kept the coin edge bezel. Movement is really nice. Handset is a nice improvement. Dial is a bit plain. Another one to put on the wish list. Because barring a Powerball win, thats as close as I'm gonna get.

Normally, I'm not a big fan of gold cases, but WOW!!!!!! Spectacular!!!!!

And just look at the decoration on that movement!

Agree about keeping the coin edge bezel, reduces scratches, but the price on this baby has to be astronomical.

$29,000.00 as in $29K?
I'd have to sell my grandaughter into Indentured Slavery to get
that kinda cash!
Definitely waaay above my pay grade fellow freeks.

Once again it's proven to me the more uber expensive a watch is, the more ugly and gaudy they seem to my eyes.

For $29K you could own two brand new Rolexes and two brand new Omegas, all classics! If given the choice of spending $29K, I would have to be insane to buy the Tutima!
