I am after a brown-ish or Olive Drab leather watch strap that is new but looks like it comes of a WWII piece of military equipment.

Does anyone know about something like that, or else how much would that cost to have it made up?

Michel

Im guessing you want a distressed looking leather strap?
Many guys can distress the leather, or you can get an ammo strap, which is brown and usually has wear marks and distressed , and they can distress it more .

Prices for ammo straps or custom straps in general are all over the map, depending on who you go with.

I would start looking at all the sites I listed here, and looking at what you want, and then compare prices.

I really like the look of Rob Montanas ammo straps.

Upated again, lots added.
Sooo many options out there, and some great stuff.
While I was adding, I looked around at Wotan Craft the most. Great professional website, awesome straps, and very custom buckles made out of silver and brass, etc.

Hi Tatto Chef.........You and I have talked back and forth a few times. I just received my Lum-Tec B11. I am totally sold on this watch brand. I believe a new 300 is in my future, unless they offer up another combat series with a bead blasted finish and a swiss auto movement. Anyway, the reason I'm contacting you is I would like to get a recommendation of a watch strap company here in the USA that makes a nice vintage looking leather strap (thick) that would look good on my B11. Also, do you have any opinions on Luminox watches?

Thanks, Larry

Hello. Luminox watches. Have owned many over the years, good tactical type watch, can take a lot of abuse. Tons of people wear them from police, military, hikers, campers etc. depends on model though, some can be a little overpriced. $350 and under is where I stayed with luminox.

As far as straps, well they are all good really. I personally have a rob Montana ammo right now and love it but it is expensive at $200.
Give me a price you are willing to pay and I can make a better recommendation .

Hi.....Thanks for the quick response. Does Rob Montana have a website because I can't find it if he does? Can you send me a photo of the one you have...you seem to have quite good taste with your watches as well as knowledge. What would you recommend if I wanted to stick at $100 or less? Vintage type leather...

Larry

Yes, Rob has a website, it is in the list, but here it is.

Honestly, if you are looking for vintage leather, under $100, check out Diaboliq straps. I have have one coming in a week or so. He is not in US, but at most his prices are at most $80, airmailed and tracked from Germany.
Below is his facebook gallery, but check out his intro post in the intro section that he posted yesterday.
