Hey everyone sounds like there is another Zodiac that will be making a return. The re-issue Sea Wolf is scheduled for Spring 2015 release guys. With the new versions following along with many of the classic themes of the originals. There will be triangular markers, plain stainless steel bezels, and different acrylic inlay bezels done in different colors. The movement is said to be the STP 1-11 Caliber self-winding mechanical movement with 26 jewels, and 44 hour power reserve.

Later in 2015, the Super Sea Wolf will also make a return in with a larger size, and more water resistance.

Some pictures for you...

It certainly looks a little on the vintage side to me. Not my favorite Zodiac. I have owned a few and there is nothing wrong with them. I just don't think this is their strongest model.

This is just a prototype guys, so I guess there could be some changes done to the final versions. I'm just glad they are bringing these classic models back like this. :) Can't wait to see how the Super Sea Wolf turns out when they do that one later on also ! ..Thanks a lot for looking guys, and especially for your opinions about these.

I like it, can picture me buying it in all black. Don't mind the acrylic bezel. And, as mentioned, there also will be a re-edition of the Super Sea Wolf. That'll be even more interesting although I fear the price.

A little research learned me that the first models had a Venus hand wound movement and a chrome plated brass bezel. And that the brand is now owned by Fossil. The vintage ones go on eBay between $400 and $800, depending on the condition and are listed as military 'Vietnam era' dive watches. I'll peddle back from my earlier remark: I want one with the original metal bezel :D Please make the price bearable, please, please, please.....

I don't know, with the funky looking hands o the new one, it doesn't look that much like he one I wore in the Marines in the 60's.

Opps, this photo shows a new one that looks more like it! Now if it had a sapphire crystal and was reasonable priced, I just might bite for nostalgia sake!

Yup, you're right Chazman. There are a few different variations, and this is more like the classic you evidently had. :) I hope it's not to high in price, and that maybe you can get one. If it is, there's probably a nice one on one of the forums, or ebay though for you. ..Thanks very much for the extra pictures by the way !

I absolutely love vintage print ads. I love how they don't use modern legalese.
Radium. Why can't we still use Radium. Radium was awesome. Also toxic, sure. but awesome.

I think back in the old days they used to hand paint the radium on the dials and hands, the workers would occasionally wet the brush with their tongue, and the end result wasn't too pretty.

Digging the color combo on the first pic.....blue bezel. You know these will be overpriced when they are released through Fossil so be on the lookout on eBay.
I really like the Zodiac Ocenaire as my favorite!
