Kinda has a PAM/Magrette look to the case, and Lum-tec vibe to the dial.
I am excited to see the whole shebang!

This may be my first NFW. I am glad G went with the 44mm. Now I am hoping for the L2L to be no more than 52mm. Either way, this one looks like a winner.

I am looking forward to seeing more pictures of the actual watch and additional views of the full case.

Until then it seems very interesting.

What a great looking watch to commemorate a great soldier.Walt Shumate ran the gammet from Korea, 4 tours in Nam (unheard of), to the ill fated Iranian hostage rescue debacle.

George thanks for recognizing this hero with this beautiful watch.

Gotta love that Falstaff in the pic. Reminds me if Lucky Lager, both without fliptops

George has been in close coordination with the leadership at the Special Forces Association as well as Colonel Alan Shumate - Special Forces, 7th Special Forces Group; SGM Shumate's only son. This commemoration has been cleared through the Shumate family and George has flown across the country to meet with old team mates of SGM Shumate.

I am very proud to have been a small part of this tremendous effort on the part of NFW to contribute to our fallen warriors and the perpetuation of our heralded history.

This will be an awesome watch. I have seen a lot of details on this project and I will definitely own all of them. They will be amazing!
