Default New project please let me know what you think.

Greetings fellow watch fans. Here are four potential designs for an upcoming series of watches. At this point I don't have a favorite etc so you can be honest good or bad. I am pretty sure this is the case design I want to go with. Also it will be 42mm width 100 meter w/r and will not have a screw down crown. Most likely I will do it in a Ronda 515 or something else along that line.

The idea is to create a more affordable watch that people will enjoy whether they are watch collector or not.

I would vote for Version D. I like the red accents and the Arabic number markers.

I would like a screw down crown at any price point. I'd also like to see a bracelet option, even if it cost more.

D especially with the dial numbers is inspired by some 1960's Seiko designs. =)

There are several reasons I don't offer a bracelet due to issues brands have with suppliers and delays. Issues customers then have with pins or screws on the links. Plus I can source US made leather straps but not USA made bracelets. So that's why I've not offered a bracelet option.

To date I've always offered screwed down crowns. This has caused lots of issues with non watch collectors that make up a lot of our customers. Even with clear instructions on use people don't get it then have issues due to operator error. So for this one I am thinking I want to go without a screw down crown just for once and see how that goes. =) But I might end up going with it. Too early to tell.

I have asked for additional designs using colors I have not seen as of yet and a few other items that are inspired by 1970's Omega watches. To me the cushion case is a classic look and it begs for at least one if not two version with a classic looking dial and hands. =)

I also want a few designs that are more contemporary but with out a black dial. As I have several people telling me they are tired of black dials. Plus in our upcoming automatics the blue dial RWB is seeing the most interest. But we will see what happens as our journey progresses. =)

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts with me. I like to have a lot of feedback before I actually bring something new to market.

I'm between A & D:

Overall, I like the looks of the A dial more, but I think no-date would make it look better.

If it has to have a date window, then I like the way version D executes it over A.

I like the hands on D as well.

Also, I like the A bezel, but I think it needs some sort of pointer/indicator at the 60 position to help with reading the elapsed time more quickly. Old eyes like mine need a triangle or round pip to easily show where my timing started.

LOVE the case design and dimensions! I think this is really going to be a hot item!

COOL, COOL, COOL!!!!!!

I feel like I'm seeing more and more of the multi-date window as shown on version D. Is there any practical reason for this or is it just meant to show more date wheel as a matter of style?

I think you've got a nice case design in any event, it reminds me of my late '60s Seikos.

And I like C and D. D slightly more, except for date window but that's not a deal breaker.

They all look fantastic really Thomas !!!

Am so bad a choosing favorites to be honest ! D is great, but then you also love the sleek, minimalistic style of A
with it's terrific hands, and numbers, and just clean, yet mean looking dial.

Also think B, and C are awesome with those textured dials, and sword hands ! Oh, and liking the stainless bezels on A, B,
and C.

No matter how you slice it, they are all terrific imo sir !!!

D for me, kind of like C also, except the hand set seems too small and out of proportion.

On these I am leaning towards A and D at the moment. Might offer both. Might even offer a bracelet option.

If we offer a bracelet option what style should it be and how about the clasp on it?

Here are three designs I was just sent. Based on the number of people that said bracelet notice those are here. =) The issue with that is I need to order at least 300 and we at this point make smaller batches than that.

These are hard for me to see due to the size of the image so I asked for a larger one. It seems like version A and D from the first batch I posted are the front runners so I most likely will work on tweaking those two. I plan to offer about 4 versions.

Here is where we are at right now. I may just make 3 of these or I may offer all 6. At any rate which one do you like most?

Thus far across all the places I have asked for votes on is ahead but the 4th one is close to it.

I am going to start tweaking this design a bit. First thing is I think the minute hand needs to be wider but not sure how wide. Any suggestions?

Also the red tip on the hands. I know from previous use it works on the 2nd hand but I don't think that red will work on the tip of the other hands. So I've asked for a brighter color but would like to know what you all think?

As it stands now I think I will do the red in a sunray as well cause I like that but might do just 25 of those. I will most likely do up two other versions as well. Just not sure which yet.

Got a new revise of a project we are working on at the moment. Changes made based on feedback and the designer thought this set of hands would be better.

As of now planning on keeping the 24hr ring as our brand is known for making military field style watches. Plus without that ring this dial is so bare it just does not work in our view.

Might drop the date function but we really want that personally on a watch. =)

Might ditch the texture on the dial or go with something more subtle. Not really sure on that.

What do you all think of the way this is looking?
