Default Glycine Incursore 46mm Manual Wind

Anyone own one of these watches? Looks interesting and since Invicta took over the prices are falling on Glycine products like an anvil.

How accurate and reliable is the Unitas movement in it? Is it too big?

I haven't owned a manual wind since the early 70's so this should be a interesting addition to my collection

Video of movement.

I have Unitas movement in Hamilton and Steinhart and they are great work horses. I don't have this particular Glycine so not able to comment on this one

Movement is a workhorse and easily serviceable. Like the look but can't comment on size as I've never owned one. Out of curiosity, how much are these running, nowadays?

Is this an old stock? I suspect the prices aren't falling in the sense that Glycine brand took a hit. Rather its Invicta pricing after taking over the production. Corners cut.

Expect Invicta quality assurance and warranty and customer services. You might get unlucky and get a lemon. Or you might just get the deal you were expecting.

Nice watch indeed. The ETA 6497 is a great movement and has been around for decades - it is very reliable and easy to service. It can also be very accurate and has 2 days or more of power reserve, which is great.

Chazzman:
Hey Jarhead. If you recommend it, it's like a direct order from ole Chesty Puller.
Wonder where ole Chesty is today.
Prices dropping on Glycene? Poop on my paddle,
This model is 10 clicks past AOK. Jus saying.

Since this watch or no other manual wind watch is being listed on the Glycine website, I must assume it is old stock.

the invicta made Glycine will have a new logo. if you google it you will see. I believe your watch to be old stock which to me is good. Invicta is selling off all the old stock. I picked up this blasted combat 7 for 250 shipped. It has a modified ETA movement.
