Default Detectives needed!

I found this laying in the dirt next to some train tracks while walking the dog the other day.

Do you guys have any idea what this thing is/was?????

I'm intrigued by the circuitry in that small circle (the entire object is only about the size of a dime). And I can't imagine it would have been part of a train engine or car, since it's so small.

Thanks!!!!!

I think it's part of a UFO or a secret military aircraft

What's on the other side of it ?
Please post another pic of the reverse side.

Was it laying on top of the track foundation gravel ?

How close to the tracks was it ?

Was it alone or was there any other similar debris near it of similar makeup ?

I have more questions but seeing the b reverse side may answer some of them.

Please be available for further questions.

I found it in the dirt and gravel at an intersection where the tracks crossed through the side road my dog and I were walking on, about 2 feet from the nearest wooden tie. I hope that makes sense??? We weren't walking along the tracks themselves.

Again, about 2 feet from the nearest wooden tie.

All on its own in the dirt and gravel.

bapackerfan-

There is a possibility it came from a train passing by, perhaps as part of a shipment on a flatcar. It also could have been dropped by someone who was walking along the tracks. There is definitely some age to this item not only in its general design but the metal content and electrical connection. It's possible it was some type of light that could have been daisy chained in line.

I know this may be an inconvenience but you asked us to play detective. I have spoken to several friends who are military, industrial and aerospace knowledgeable. Some who have worked for those agencies that have 3 letters. A couple have requested to see focused pictures with a coin next to it for exact size reference.

This is really an exercise in interesting fun. If it's worth it to you perhaps you wouldn't mind providing the new pics, of course it's up to you. Thanks, Jim

Wow, thank you so much for all the legwork you're doing, Jim!!!!!

I'd be VERY happy to provide more pics (see attached).

Sorry, but that's as focused as the iPad would get for me.

Can't wait to read more about what your contacts think!!!!!!

Six pointed star pendant in a odd orientation with light in the center makes me think weird religious affiliation of some sort.

Wiccans
Satanism
Illuminati
Free Masons

All use some variation of a six pointed star not used as the standard point up Jewish star of David. What you have in your possession is a Satanic amulet used during secret ceremonies by the Illuminati and Freemasons. The light in the middle was for added evil bling.

It's just a theory...

If there was a light on the front, it would have to be battery powered. There's no access from the back of the star, so the light must've screwed off the front, but where would the battery have gone?????

Definitely a pendant of some sort. How heavy is the item? If it's got some substance to it, if could be a magnetic field transformer. A lot of different folks out there are making jewelry to help improve their bio-magnetic (qi) fields with sacred geometry and magnetic technology. This is probably a prototype of some sort.

I wonder if it had some blinking lighting on it at one point... perhaps a kids necklace from fair or arcade... one of these days someone is going to pop in here at random and identify that sucker definitively! Okay, maybe not, but that would be cool.

I hope you're right! No one I've shown it to either here or in "real life" has been able to identify it or even provide a really solid lead. I've tried Googling the thing every which way I can think of and always come up empty.

Kinda weird ....

WF's:
I put in 40 years as a locomotive Engr and the item isn't a RR item.
At least it doesn't seem to be.
Maybe some elitist, wanna bee hobo dropped it?

Think that's loco? I was leaving on a train northward and saw our DA
and appearently boarding a box car for a wanna bee hobo trip.Duh!!!

Takes all kinds of people these days.
