Don't honestly know a ton about Fitbit, or fitness tracking watches in general, but know a lot of you guys do, and thought you might enjoy the news. Fitbit's Blaze looks like a pure smart watch, but still has the fitness tracking special features like PurePulse heart rate, workout summaries, on screen workouts, SmartTrack, and more. Then also gives you smart notifications, music control, wireless syncing, and 5 day battery life. Plus you can pick from all kinds of different strap, and frame choices as well.
I rock a fitbit charge hr on the other wrist and a mechanical to tell the time. Fitbit and wearables are here to stay. I'm going on record to predict this as a winner with the pedestrian non-WIS crowd. A fitness device that happens to be a watch at a better price point than Apple watch will be a hit, methinks.
I'm a Fitbit HR guy, too. Love it and use it throughout every day and night (for sleep pattern stuff). I like that its smaller though and not a watch. I wear mine on my right hand that way. I'm not sure that I'd want this larger new Fitbit but it does look cool.
I have a fitbit surge. The blaze is pretty much the surge with a color screen, and has the ability to change straps. Definitely took some ques from the Apple watch.
Going with the majority here. Looks cool and good price. Not for me though but I love my fit bit where on the right wrist and basically size of a thick bracelet so doesn't look odd with a watch on the left wrist and a fit bit on the other. Don't think I could rock this and a regular watch so not for me.
Really is so neat hearing what you guys think about these, and also seeing what you have to say about the different models everyone has. I know they are very popular with a lot of you guys.
The whole affordability thing with them really does seem awesome ! Then when you consider they are part both fitness watch, and smart watch, it's really really impressive !!!
Thanks so much for the insight, and opinions about everything everyone !
I had a FitBit Charge HR but returned it to the place I bought it. I didn't think the HR or distance was accurate. I also didn't like it when wearing long sleeves at work because the FitBit grabbed my shirt sleeve a lot.
