I've not been following Moto GP at all, except for catching the Isle of Man races when I can. I've been trying to follow F1, but been pretty lackadaisical in that effort, also. Lol.

You're. missing a very exciting season! Reigning world champion Marc Marquez is still the fastest when he doesn't crash but since he's gone down 5 times this season he is no longer in contention for the title with only 4 races left. 9 time World Champ Valentino Rossi is leading the championship but only by a few points with 2 time World Champ Jorge Lorenzo on his heels.

Last American in the series Nicky Hayden and 2006 World Champ is doing OK for the "Open Bike" class but not even in the top ten overall due to the performance gap of those bikes and the full factory bikes...

Man, sounds like I missed out on a great season. Almost reminds me of the WRC days when Carlos Sainz kept crashing.

Don't know if there are any MotoGP fans out there but if you haven't heard, 2006 MotoGP World Champion and current World Superbike RedBull Honda team rider passed away a couple days ago as a result of injuries sustained from a bicycle accident... Very sad....
