The sporty exclusiveness of the Ocean One PREMIUM Blue makes it stand out from other diver watches. Its solid design guarantees highest resiliance as well as an outstanding quality. The Heart of the Ocean One PREMIUM Blue is the Swiss automatic movement Soprod A-10, whose elaborate finish can be admired through the glass case back. In addition to the sunray brushed blue dial, another highlight that stands out is the ceramic bezel inlay, also in blue color. Within the large genre of sports diver watches the Ocean One PREMIUM Blue is one of the few examples in its price range which demonstrates such an excellent cost-performance ratio.

I can see what you are saying but expensive is relative, to some extent.
To the student with a part time income and used to a cheap Walmart digital, then Steinhart may be the world, at that time, however with hard work and a good education it might be a Rolex in another 15 years.

This looks like an amazing watch for under a grand in my opinion. Was really looking at this one as well. Bugs me how you can only buy online without trying it on first. The blue looks amazing, but not sure how I feel wearing that with a white shirt and black tie in a suit all day for work. I like the idea of black inlay or even a blue inlay with a black or polished bezel. Not sure how it will feel on my wrist if it'll be too big and if it is then I wouldn't know what I would do after purchasing it haha.

Clear back is a huge selling point for me. Not to mention the price on that bad boy.

Gino, I was wondering the same thing: Is it the type of blue that could be worn with a suit or is it too casual?

What do other folks think? Christopher Ward was mentioned as having a similar blue and so does Squale.

Been exactly a week since I have owned this watch. Wore it everyday for a week. Love the thing. Tomorrow it will have the time re set as 30 seconds off will bug my OCD not that I notice it unless I really stare at the watch when it changes. Protective film on the clasp is about to fall off, looks real bad just hanging there, do not have the heart to pull it off myself lol.

Yeah the watch came with the plastic wrapping "protective film" if you will on the bracelet and clasp. I never took mine off. Now it's falling apart and looks ratty a week later. May need to pull it off but don't have the heart to lol. It's the packaging. You know when you buy a new tv they have that clear plastic on the side? The watch comes with that on the clasp and bracelet. Left mine on to protect against desk dives and now well it's almost fallen off lol.

Yup! Indeed. Going to come off real soon lol. I am that anal lol. Wasn't ready to say goodbye to the fresh brand new look and feel ahaha. Oh I also have the tissue paper that came in the outer box to protect the inner leather box. I still have that haha.

How's everyone's watches running? Just checked mine this morning, running at about an estimated 5 seconds + a day. How are all yours running? Yeah I do sit it on its side in the box with the crown facing up.

Mine has settled into +4 seconds a day, if I place it face down at night, if I don't, it runs -3.
