Of course it's a given that as the watch is being presented some of the sales folks tend to mix good instructive watch info with a bit of shall we say colorful sales pitch. In any event I would love to see all manner of watch makers present their watches on TV.

However my main point is - has anyone else noticed that years ago several watchmakers took turns for an hour or two presenting their watches on TV, including as I recall one German watch maker with a heavy accent, but something happened because for the last couple of years the presence of all those other watch makers that posed competition for Invicta all but disappeared from public view?

Am I the only one that thinks that that development is very odd? I have a theory but I'll keep it to myself.
Oh no... Don't stop now. I love conspiracy theories. Especially if they involve Invicta... Carry on sir.

Let's just say I would tune into a TV show, any TV show, if multiple watch makers took turns presenting their watches for an hour or two, and I'd probably buy watches with more frequency. The current one sided sales approach is too limiting for me and I've stayed away for years now.

NICE!

I wonder how many people work at Invicta in Florida. What is it like working there?
Got an "F" at the BBB. Wow.

Looked at a few on their website just now.

They're... interesting designs.
MSRP are through the roof. I hate when companies have MSRP through the roof but then offer giant discounts to make people think they're getting a GREAT deal.

UGH.

I have an Invicta Quartz Grand Diver 3441 that I purchased new for a very reasonable price and would have no issue recommending that model to anyone as it's been a very good watch for me.

The older model Invictas were the real deal and built like tanks.

I've got several from a decade or so back starting with the original Sub Aqua Noma black dimple dial 7750 and it's in my 42mm-43mm sweet spot and still a keeper.
